1) UnLtd India:

It is a launch pad for social entrepreneurs that support individuals with ideas, passion and the entrepreneurial skills to address pressing problems in their communities.

Looking for:

Senior incubation manager: Responsibilities include working with the incubation Director and the team to set the program strategy, provide high-quality coaching and advisory support to UnLtd India investees.

Fundraising Manager: Work with the founders and Board to set the organization’s fundraising strategy, lead the implementation of our fundraising strategy and hit fundraising targets.

2) i-Probono:

It is an online network that connects non-profits and social enterprises with legal assistance from around the world.

Looking for:

Duties include identifying and forming alliances with credible civil society organizations in South Asia, supervisory control over registering of civil society organizations on the network, drafting and posting projects for civil society organizations on the i-Probono online network, and looking for suitable matches for the project.

3) Social Venture Partners (SVP):

SVP is a network of philanthropic investors, with 32 city chapters in four countries and over 2,700 members. Its model has a two-pronged strategy of philanthropy development and capacity building.

Looking for:

Communications and administrative officer: Responsibilities include managing the administrative and communication requirements of the organization, with strong written and verbal and social media skills.

4) Ashoka India:

Since 1980, Ashoka has been a pioneer in the field of social entrepreneurship, and has more than 3,000 social entrepreneurs (Ashoka Fellows) in over 70 countries.

Looking for:

Front end developer to provide support to Ashoka’s globally distributed teams and work with Ashoka’s Integrated Technology Initiative team’s global web platform administrator to create new templates, change existing UI templates, drive user experience and design. Web Content Manager to provide support to Ashoka’s globally distributed teams and work with Ashoka’s country office website content managers to facilitate, edit, and aggregate web content updates, drive content sharing and syndication.

5) Unitus Capital:

Founded in 2008, Unitus Capital is a social investment bank, specializing in raising capital for businesses targeting bottom of the pyramid communities.

Looking for: Communication officer to help build their brand, communicate with all key stakeholders and implement a new communications and stakeholder relation strategy. This position is part-time.

6) IDEX Accelerator (IDEX):

IDEX is a pioneer in the creation of emerging leaders globally who first cut their teeth in exciting social enterprises.

Looking for:

IDEX Fellowship is accepting applications for the 2014 cohort. IDEX Fellows undergo six months of leadership and business development training by working full-time for social enterprises across India.

7) Futures Group International:

Futures Group is a global health consulting firm which works in close partnership with global and local leaders and communities to protect and promote people’s health and well-being so they can transform their own lives and their futures.

8) Jal Bhagirathi Foundation:

This non-governmental organization works towards ensuring safe water in the arid regions of Marwar.

9) National Health Mission:

NHM is one of the programmes of Government of India, implemented through Karnataka State Health 86 Family Welfare Society.

Looking for: The Planning Commission and Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MOTA) in partnership with UNDP intend to prepare a National Tribal Human Development Report (Tribal NHDR). The Tribal NHDR is intended to provide a deeper understanding of applicability of mainstream development paradigm on Scheduled Tribes and its implication on human capabilities as defined by the capabilities approach that forms the foundation of human development concept. It is expected to analyse the reason for low levels of achievements and providing specific policy options.
