INK 2013 Fellows unveiled: includes Anand Gandhi, director of 'Ship of Theseus'

INK, a physical and digital platform for sharing innovative ideas announced the list of 24 names of achievers and path breakers of tomorrow under the INK Fellows Program 2013. In its fourth edition, the program witnessed 700 applications from 45 countries, with experts from diverse fields helping in selecting the final group.

Some of the INK Fellows chosen this year include Anand Gandhi, director of ‘Ship of Theseus’; PS Jalaja, a Kerala-based visual artist; dancer Isha Sharvani, Karthik Reddy of Blume Ventures; eco-innovator –Param Jaggi; agricultural entrepreneur – Sanvar Oberoi and linguistic enabler – Sunil Khandbahale among others. The INK Fellows would get an opportunity to share the stage with eminent speakers and showcase their work to a global audience at INK’s flagship annual event, the INK Conference in association with TED, which is to be held at Le Meridian Kochi between 25th and 27th October, 2013.

They’d also participate in INK Live 2013, a work shop oriented event to be held at JT Performing Arts Center for college students and young working professionals in Kerala. INK would also foster their personal and creative development and provide mentorship support, besides helping them gain access to funding and other opportunities.

“We are thrilled to bring on board this immensely talented and multi-faceted group of Fellows for the year 2013. These youngsters have already done such incredible work in their respective fields, and INK will offer them meaningful support to really take things to the next level”, said Lakshmi Pratury – founder, host and curator of INK.

Multi-disciplinary artist Raghava KK, who is serving as Chair of the Fellows Program for the year 2013, added: “It’s been so exciting to chair the program this year. I was so overwhelmed by the quality of applicants. Choosing the final group was not at all an easy task.”
